The big drawback is once you bid and win your travel is nonrefundable and non-transferable. This is a major consideration and therefore you should be very certain on your travel plans before booking. This being said if you are serious about saving money and have some flexibility with your travel plans you really have to consider Priceline very seriously. I have personally booked through Priceline approximate 50 times and only once was I disappointed. Upon reviewing the hotel I booked I realized that it was in price I made the mistake myself.
